My Ultimate Hack For Managing Time and Juggling Life Like a Pro.

How to Reclaim Time and Crush Your Goals

Do you ever get to the end of the day feeling like you’ve been running non-stop, only to realize you haven’t ticked off a single important task?

Same.

Life’s a circus, and we’re all trying to juggle flaming torches, bowling pins, and maybe a chainsaw or two.

Whether you’re a business owner, a parent, a 9-to-5er, or all of the above, managing the chaos feels like trying to organize a drawer full of tangled earbuds.

For years, I struggled to find balance—until I cracked the code with my ABCDE Framework.

This isn’t some Pinterest-level “wake up at 4 a.m. and drink green juice” fluff. It’s an actionable plan to help you reclaim your time and actually move the needle.

Here’s how it works.

A: Audit Your Time

Let’s start with some hard truths. Most of us think we’re masters of multitasking, but we’re really just spinning wheels.

Someone (maybe Tony Robbins?) once said, “We overestimate what we can do in a day and underestimate what we can achieve in a year.”

Guilty as charged.

It’s time for a time audit. Yeah, it sounds boring, but stick with me.

For one week, track everything you do—from brushing your teeth to doomscrolling socials.

You’ll probably notice huge chunks of time getting swallowed by distractions.

This exercise is like turning on the lights in a cluttered room; you see all the stuff that’s been tripping you up.

Pro Tip: Use a simple tracker—pen and paper, Google Sheets, whatever works. The point is to get real about where your time actually goes.

Because what doesn’t get measured doesn’t get managed.

B: Build Power Blocks

Do you ever get into a work groove, only to be yanked out by a reminder to go run an errand, start dinner, or (in my case) chauffeuring kids from school and basketball practice?

It’s like trying to run a marathon but stopping every mile to tie your shoelaces.

Power blocks are the antidote.

They’re uninterrupted chunks of time dedicated to deep work. The key here is ruthless prioritization.

Batch similar tasks together and eliminate distractions.

Got family commitments?

Delegate or pre-plan.

Yes, meal prepping on Sundays, so dinner doesn’t hijack the weekday flow, is a real hack.

For instance, I started carpooling with other parents for my son’s basketball practices.

That alone gave me an extra hour to focus on work. That hour feels like a gift from the time gods.

C: Categorize Your Tasks

Sunday evenings are my planning sanctuary. I sit down with a cuppa tea / coffee and brain dump everything I need to do for the week—business, family, errands, all of it.

Then I sort tasks into categories:

  1. Revenue-generating tasks: These directly grow my business. Think sales calls, content creation, and strategy planning.

  2. Maintenance tasks: Things that need doing but don’t move the needle. Emails, admin, the small stuff.

  3. Personal commitments: Family time, volunteering, self-care—because burnout isn’t sexy.

Pro Tip: tackle the big, needle-moving tasks first. Someone called this “eating your vegetables,” and while you may dislike vegetables, you’ll love the results.

D: Determine Priorities

Newsflash: Not everything on your to-do list is urgent. Shocking, right?

The Eisenhower Matrix is your friend here, which helps to decide:

  • What’s urgent and important? Do it now.

  • What’s important but not urgent? Schedule it.

  • What’s urgent but not important? Delegate it.

  • What’s neither? Trash it.

Oh, and the two-minute rule is a game-changer:

If a task takes less than two minutes, just do it. Reply to that text. Send that email.

Don’t let small stuff pile up into a mountain.

One more thing: At least 50% of your time on revenue-generating tasks. Tweaking your website can wait.

Selling can’t.

E: Execute with Focus

This is where the magic happens. By now, you’ve:

✅ Audited your time,

✅ Blocked your schedule,

✅ Categorized tasks, and

✅ Prioritized like a boss.

Now it’s time to put your head down and do the damn thing.

Set up an environment that screams, “let’s get this done.”

Noise-canceling headphones? Check.

A Pomodoro timer? Double-check.

The goal is focus, not perfection.

Work in sprints, take breaks, and celebrate small wins.

Execution isn’t about grinding, it’s about making the most of your energy.

Final Thoughts

Here’s the deal: you don’t need more time. You just need to be intentional with the time you already have.

My ABCDE Framework isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution, but it’s a good starting point.

Try it for a week, tweak it to fit your life, and watch how much you can accomplish.
